Cathy Connolly qualified from the University of Essex in 2016. Originally from Northern Ireland, Cathy enjoyed her time in Southend and decided to relocate permanently with her husband and two children. Cathy’s enjoys family time with her children and holidays.
Cathy enjoys building patient’ s confidence and giving them back their smile. She has a quiet, calm approach which works well with nervous patients.
Cathy has invested in the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT ) treatment and is keen to provide a minimally invasive, pain free periodontal experience. Cathy is an EMS trained GBT practitioner, using the latest state of the art Swiss technology.
The GBT protocol allows Cathy to educate and motivate her patients at each appointment to achieve their optimal oral health at home. Using biofilm discloser, Cathy can show the patients the plaque they are missing followed by an oral health demonstrations before treatment to actively support and engage the patient through their treatment journey. This will help to with enhance their treatment outcomes to have “Oral health Optimisation” and “Stabilisation before Restoration”.
Cathy has also completed the Enlighten Whitening training and can discuss the treatment and arrange a consultation with a dentist for suitability before treatment with herself or the dentist.
